The Sunday School program is still in need of unit teachers and volunteers for several units and activities throughout the Sunday School year.  We specifically need volunteers who can serve as substitute teachers on the occasional Sunday, and we need a few unit teachers/volunteers to help with several rotations and with the upcoming Christmas program.  You will have lots of support and gratitude!  Please contact Mary Reichenbach, Melanie Swenson or Allison Mull if interested.  Calvary’s children need you!

Background Check Information
In order to help assure the safety of our children and the integrity of our volunteers we have several policies for volunteering:

  • You must be a member of Calvary Lutheran Church and have attended for at least six months. If you are transferring from another Lutheran church where you were an active member in good standing, you may volunteer prior to the end of a three month time period with the okay of the pastor and Director of Youth and Family Ministry and under their direct supervision.
  • You must fill out an application to volunteer and have a criminal background check run.
If you would like to be considered as a driver for youth events you must also fill out a driver form.
